Last April’s beauty

Last April’s beauty

Of emeralds and sapphires

Languors in June’s heat

Too late her season has come

Too soon the pangs of Winter

    • The droughts and heat have taken a toll on poor Oklahoma over the last few years, and as we have been waiting for the rainy season to start here, I had a cross-hatched image of the flowers of my two homes suffering duress.

However, the rain seems to have arrived the last few days for both Fukushima and Oklahoma, which may account for the contrast between a few of these recent poems. We all could use a healthy rainy season methinks. 😉
