Be there a bumble

Be there a bumble

Flitting by lavender leaves

Drenched in morning dew

To bring the sweetest honey

For the eve’ning’s bitter blue

  1. I do like this tanka. My lavender is starting to bloom. Between that, the honeysuckle, and patches of white and red clover, the bees are punch drunk on nectar. I must confess to being a bit delirious myself. But this just sings…rhyme and rhythm sings and dances…it’s May!!!!
