About

To find a muse, a truly new muse
would be a wonderful thing
But I love the night and the moon
which wreaks of mediocrity
So what does one say or write
when all is just cliche
I guess we speak of the moon, maybe the night
and enjoy the mediocrity

  1. i honestly think “mediocre” should be replaced by Modest πŸ™‚ long time since i’ve been on wordpress, but signed in today and your poetry was there to enchant! hope you’re doing well!

    • I am doing well. It’s been fun readjusting back to life here in Japan (I think I was still in the States last time we “spoke”), but I love it so!

I hope to see a lot more of your pictures and words in the near future. πŸ˜€

  2. Enjoy your site, and this piece I’m from Toronto originally, but have lived in Stockholm for 12 years. People (other English speaking expats) are often joking about “aboot”, though I never heard it in my speech until I moved here.
Thanks for your “like” on my piece on http://www.randommisanthrope.com
For the record, I did actually stand naked in the summer rain last night, turning off my porchlight late in the evening, when the neighbours, presumably, were asleep. Even if they weren’t though, people are much more relaxed about stuff like that here, as they are with “obscenity and vulgarity” such as you talk about here. They may not love it, and may even frown on it, but take it to court? Naw.

    • Everybody should enjoy some nakedness every once in a while. The US is quite “prudish” about such things, and trying it may get you on a sex offender list, but always take advantage when you can! As for “Aboot,” I have a friend from Vancouver who would let it slip, along with an “eh” or two, when she got drunk. I find it interesting and charming, being a linguist and all.

I would also like to say that I greatly enjoy your blog as well, and everybody should check it out. Your poem, “I Dare You,” is absolutely wonderful, and thank you so much for stopping by my unholy mess.

  3. I continue to enjoy your work and have named you to receive the “Very Inspiring Blog” award. Check my site for details in about an hour. – Paul F. Lenzi at Poesy plus Polemics.

    • In my best George Takei voice, “Oh my!” Mr. Lenzi, I am very grateful for your nomination and your reading of my blog. I, in kind, have been enjoying your poetry and appreciate your voice joined with mine in this nebulous nether. Cheers, my good man.

  4. Wow! I guess there are a few of us “tube-heads” still about. I’ve never had anybody really know what my handle references. πŸ™‚

Thank you for the kind words; it is much appreciated.
